Intelligent and safe charge control even under frosty conditions! With numerous features, the ALCT 6-24 / 4 ensures safe and gentle charging and guarantees optimum performance and a long service life for lead acid batteries. After the pole terminals have been successfully contacted, the device automatically detects the voltage of the connected lead acid battery and indicates this with the corresponding LED on the display. Depending on the voltage, the "MODE" button can be used to select a charging current, which means that car batteries can be charged very quickly, but also small motorcycle batteries can be charged very gently.

For 6 V / 12 V or 24 V lead acid batteries with a capacity of 4.5Ah - 160Ah and up to 4A charging current. The charging currents are as follows: 1A at 6V, 12V, 24V / 2A at 12V, 24V / 4A at 12V. If no setting is made, charging takes place with the preset charging current of 1A. Lead gel, lead fleece and lead acid can be loaded in the voltage 6V, 12V, 24V.

Refresh mode - deep discharge of the battery excluded and gentle wintering. The charger automatically detects when the connected battery is deeply discharged and gently charges it with pulsating charging currents for 20 minutes until a sufficient basic voltage is reached for the normal charging process. If the battery is permanently connected to the charger for the winter, it recognizes a possible loss of capacity and then recharges automatically. This prevents deep discharge. Batteries from motorbikes, motor boats, lawn mowers, etc. come so well over the winter and are ready for use at any time.

Cold-Temp mode: at low temperatures below 5 ° C, the voltage level of the battery changes, which is why the connected battery cannot be fully charged during normal charging. This can be avoided by selecting the "COLD TEMP" mode using the "MODE" button.

Reverse polarity protection, overcharge protection, practical long cable: if the pole terminals are interchanged, an acoustic warning tone sounds and the LED on the display lights up red. A long cable of 2.0 m is particularly practical and enables charging without an extension cable. A special charging process developed in-house with charging current control and overcharge protection automatically switches to trickle charging after full charging. This way the battery is not overcharged and can remain connected to the charger for a longer period. The ALCT 6-24 / 4 is suitable for standby parallel operation, ie it can remain connected to the battery without interruption and always keeps it fully charged, even if the battery is loaded / discharged at the same time.
