BMS battery management system - PCB protection circuit for three Li-ion battery cells (Made in Japan). A battery management system (BMS) is an electronic circuit which, ie a monitoring and control of a rechargeable battery storage battery system used. The need for a BMS arises when several battery cells are interconnected to form a battery. The BMS should recognize, monitor and correct the inevitable manufacturing-related variations in various parameters of the battery cells, such as capacity and leakage currents. Application: Li-ion battery packs
Note: After soldering, the protective circuit in the battery pack must be activated, this is done by briefly charging the electronics.
