Job description

As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in providing financial, operating, and business insight to enable strategic decision making, planning, forecasting, and program execution across our business. Reporting to the CFO, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate financial objectives and priorities.

You will be responsible for providing consistent leadership: maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations and Productpine’s objectives, and safeguarding owners/investors assets. You will develop financial models, quantitative reports and insights to inform strategic decisions while you monitor cash flow and prepare accounts. Aside from ensuring that the basic administration runs smoothly, you’ll also initiate and execute various challenging improvement projects. You’ll be primarily responsible for and will have an impact on the financial management of a fast-paced startup. Exciting stuff, right?

You are an analytical and detail-oriented team player with a passion for financial reporting/ accounting. Thereby, you like to improve current business processes and bring them to the next level. You are a curious and fast learner that is able to work in a rapidly growing environment and adapt to change quickly.

Responsibilities

Maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting;
Ensuring compliance with regulations and Productpine’s objectives;
Safeguarding owners/investors assets;
Developing financial models, quantitative reports and insights to inform strategic decisions;
Monitoring cash flow and prepare accounts;
Ensuring the basic administration runs smoothly;
Various challenging financial improvement projects that underlie a fast-scaling tech platform.

Who are you

You have 2-4 years relevant working experience in the financial/accounting industry;
You have completed a relevant Master degree;
You have strong analytics skills: you are pro in Excel and preferably have experience with SQL, BI tools or even Python;
You're highly experienced in core finance functions, with a focus on planning, reporting, forecasting and analysis. Thereby, you understand the drivers of business profitability;
You are proactive, pragmatic, detailed-oriented, and applies a results-focused approach;
You have affinity with e-commerce;
You are fluent in English.
