ATTENTION, please note: these 1.5 volt Li-ion batteries can only be charged with the XTAR BC4 charger specially designed for 1.5 V Li-ion batteries! Electronically voltage-reduced 1.5 volt batteries based on lithium-ion technology, Li-ion for short, of the standard AAA/AA type are revolutionizing mobile energy supply for many standard 1.5 volt applications. The XTAR Mignon AA LR6 Li-ion battery is electronically manufactured with a regulated output voltage of 1.5 volts. The stable and high output voltage makes the 1.5 volt lithium-ion battery compatible with many devices that are optimized for operation with 1.5 V disposable batteries and where the low voltage of the NiMH battery causes problems. Due to the high voltage, many devices have a high output, e.g. many flashlights or fairy lights are a bit brighter or motors of toys, kitchen appliances run faster than with 1.2V NiMH batteries.
Higher voltage and performance as well as the electronic control are the main advantages of 1.5 volt Li-Ion Mignon AA batteries. The battery offers great advantages due to the undervoltage shutdown. Most applications do not have their own undervoltage cut-off but do not damage the electronically regulated 1.5V Li-Ion as is the case with NiMH/NiCD batteries. 1000 charging cycles are therefore quite possible with the 1.5V lithium-ion battery under real conditions. Particularly suitable for game cameras, radios, photo equipment, flash units and much more.
Disadvantages: The electronic control only allows the discharge current specified in the key figures. The batteries can only be charged with a suitable charger. Please note: Electric motors, e.g. in toy cars, require more current than the specified continuous load when starting.
Important: Charging from the 1.5V Li-Ion. Batteries is only possible with a charger designed for this purpose, which is also explicitly suitable for 1.5V Li-ion batteries. Charging with conventional chargers for 1.2V/1.5V NiMH/RAM or 3.7V Li-ion batteries is not permitted. Suitable charger eg XTAR BC4 charger especially for Li-Ion 1.5V batteries, chargers from other manufacturers are not necessarily compatible.
