The XTAR Mignon AA LR6 Li-ion battery is electronically manufactured with a regulated output voltage of 1.5 volts. The stable and high output voltage makes the 1.5 volt lithium-ion batteries compatible with many devices that are optimized for operation with 1.5V disposable batteries and for which the low voltage of the NiMH battery causes problems. The high voltage results in high performance in many devices, for example many flashlights or fairy lights are a little brighter, or toy motors, kitchen appliances run faster than with 1.2V NiMH batteries.

Important: Charging from the 1.5V Li-Ion. Batteries are only possible with a charger designed for this purpose that is also explicitly suitable for 1.5V Li-ion batteries.
