Each 1.6V battery is monitored individually in the charger, charger for 1 to 4 nickel-zinc NiZn batteries of the size AAA or AA, charging current max. 500mA, the charger is only suitable for 1.6V NiZn batteries. Thanks to the intelligent voltage monitoring and the safety timer, the charging process ends automatically as soon as the battery is fully charged. Defective or incorrectly inserted NiZn batteries as well as NiMH / NiCd batteries are automatically recognized and not charged. Nickel-zinc batteries have a voltage of real 1.6 volts and are therefore very suitable for use in devices designed for a high voltage level, such as alkaline batteries and their 1.5 volt.
