With the new battery power AD36 discharge device almost all batteries of the chemical systems Li-Ion, Li-Polymer, LiFePo4, NiMH and older systems as well as all PB lead batteries can be discharged up to a nominal battery voltage of 60.0 volt. The respective discharge current is always freely selectable or adjustable, the maximum here is 30 amps or 450 watts. An 18.0 volt battery can be constantly discharged with up to 25A, a 36.0 volt battery can still be discharged with up to 12.5A. The batteries to be tested can be contacted relatively easily using banana plugs and the alligator clips on the AD60. Other discharge adapters are optionally available.
Just start with the free battery power AD60 software app The battery power AD60 battery analyzer can only be operated with the free PC software (only works on Windows), unfortunately stand-alone operation is not possible. The software does not have to be installed, just unzip the software and start it. The optics of the AD60 app can be adapted or changed by selecting different topics. Those who are familiar with the XML and HTML color codes can store their own colors for better recognition. The respective measurements can then always be saved and opened again; a printout or save as a PDF is also possible.
Which relevant measurement data are displayed? Decisive for a measurement are the watt seconds or watt hours, the starting voltage of the battery without load, average discharge current, switch-off voltage of the battery, discharge time, the measured internal resistance, the average battery voltage with tendency, the battery capacity in mAh and as a percentage. The discharge diagram shows the voltage curve of the battery, here you can quickly see whether a battery is defective or just worn out. The pie chart shows the percentage of battery usage in four voltage ranges.
