Sanyo was bought by Matsushita Panasonic in 2009/2010. Panasonic Eneloop (4th generation) the successor to the successful Sanyo Eneloop generations. In April 2013, Panasonic announced that the new 4th generation now bears the Panasonic brand name on the battery label.
