How the soft safe works

The FIREBALLS Soft Safe is the safest way to charge, store and transport LiPo batteries. The innovative soft safe offers double security: On the one hand, the safe is made of the same fireproof material that is used for the LiPo bags. In addition, the soft safe contains 3 x 1 liter bags of Fireballs fire protection fire extinguishing granules.

The granulate cushions are placed over the batteries in the safe. In the event of a fire or a great deal of heat development, the granulate surrounds the batteries and suffocates heat and fire.

The safe is equipped with a safety Velcro fastener for the safe lid and sturdy handles. The pressure compensation is done by fireproof material with Kevlar fabric.

functionality

The granulate is applied softly to the fire. The expanded glass granulate surrounds the fire and suffocates it. At particularly high temperatures, the expanded glass melts and spreads over the surface of the burning metal. The melt forms an airtight seal, which encrusts as it cools and extinguishes the metal fire. A flare-up is thus effectively prevented.
