Hand Cut Wood & Oceanic Resin Coaster

Description

Resin offerings are a hot trend today and alongside natural, hand cut wood, this coaster features resin art where exactly equal amounts of resin and hardener are mixed into a measuring cup by an artisan. The mixture is then poured in moulds and filled to the top. Air bubbles that have risen to the surface of the resin are gently blown away and the pieces are covered to keep dust out and left to fully cure for 72 hours. The excess is removed from the mould with a sharp utility knife with rough edges being trimmed out and beautified.
