In terms of service life, lithium batteries are considerably cheaper than lead batteries. They are also suitable for parallel connection to increase capacity. Attention: no series connection to increase the voltage possible! Not suitable as a starter battery!

A regular deep discharge of more than 50% is not recommended for lead batteries, as the number of possible cycles drops disproportionately. A lithium battery, on the other hand, can be regularly discharged up to 90% without any problems, without the number of cycles suffering. A 100Ah lithium battery can therefore usually replace a 200Ah lead battery.

Lead-acid batteries clearly lose a large part of their capacity after a maximum of 800 charging cycles. A LiFePO4 battery, on the other hand, can withstand 3,000 full charge cycles and also offers good to very good performance for the subsequent 7,000 cycles.

This means that a LIONTRON® lithium battery lasts at least as long as three lead batteries, even with intensive use.

A classic 100Ah lead battery weighs approx. 32 kilograms. A lithium battery with the same output is just 14.5 kilograms. The weight saving is therefore more than 50%. If a 200Ah lead battery is replaced with a 100Ah lithium battery, it doubles, for example.

Always keep an eye on the battery status via Bluetooth

With the integrated Bluetooth 4.0 monitoring, you always have an overview of all important battery data on your smartphone or tablet.
Among other things, the app shows the following data in real time:

• Battery state of charge in% (SoC)
• Battery voltage
• Charge / discharge current
• Remaining capacity
• Battery temperature
• Number of charge / discharge cycles
• Nominal / capacity

To connect the battery and a smartphone / tablet, the device must support Bluetooth version 4.0.
