RCR123A 3V 880mAh 1.5A lithium ion battery 16340, only rechargeable via micro USBProvided that 2mm excess length can be compensated for, the RCR123A rechargeable Li-ion 3V battery is a full replacement for the non-rechargeable 3V photo battery of the CR123A design. A built-in Li-ion battery with 3.6V to 3.7V nominal voltage is regulated down to 3V with the help of electronics in the form of a PCB. The widely used type CR123A based on Li-ion revolutionizes the mobile energy supply for many applications.

Height and diameter are larger than a standard CR123A battery without a PCB and USB charging option.
The stable and high output voltage makes the 3-volt lithium-ion batteries compatible with all devices that are optimized for operation with disposable batteries. Due to the high voltage, many devices have a high output, e.g. many flashlights or fairy lights are brighter or motors (toys, kitchen appliances) run faster than with non-rechargeable batteries.
Considering its length, the Keeppower RCR123A can replace the CR123A 3V battery. Please note the dimensions of the cell before buying! Due to the built-in electronics, the cell is not suitable for every application!

Disadvantages: The electronic control only allows the discharge current of 1.5A specified in the key figures. The batteries can only be charged via USB or a suitable charger.
Important: Charging the Keeppower 3V Li-Ion. Batteries can only be used via the integrated micro USB socket. Charging with a conventional charger for NiMH / NiCD or Li-Ion batteries is not possible / permitted.
Chargers for Li-Ion 3V batteries from other manufacturers are not compatible.
Charging takes place through an integrated USB socket at any 5V USB port. Colored LEDs attached to the front of the batteries inform the user of the charging status. Charge your batteries on the go to any USB 5V connection (smartphone power pack, power bank, laptop, etc.), so they remain flexible and always have a charging option at hand.
Please note that lithium cells should only be used by competent persons.
Incorrect handling or a short circuit can lead to fire or explosion.
Lithium-ion batteries are thermally stable and are not subject to any memory effect.
