The new, high-quality solar cell is integrated in the upper, removable part of the LED lamp, the metal version of the housing and the real glass round off the elegant design. The LED light switches on automatically when it is dark and switches off again automatically when there is sufficient daylight. If the Mignon AA NiMH batteries are used up over the years, the standard AA batteries can be exchanged without any problems.
